Google "Office"

In an effort to give users a "one stop shop", if you will, for all desktop apps, Google "Office" is now available for use. With this new feature, you can create word documents and spreadsheets that you can now access as long as you have an internet connection. I haven't really been able to test it yet. It appears that you can upload existing files as long as they meet the following specs:

Types of files that you can upload (up to 500KB):
Documents

* HTML files and plain text (.txt).
* Microsoft Word (.doc), Rich Text (.rtf), OpenDocument Text (.odt) and StarOffice (.sxw).

Spreadsheets

* Comma Separated Value (.csv).
* Microsoft Excel (.xls) files and OpenDocument Spreadsheet (.ods).

I just uploaded an Excel file and edited it a little bit. It was a seemless transfer with no problems noted. I may actually use this feature on a regular basis.
